In the second annual "Turkey's Top 500 Service Exporters" research, Netlog Logistics Group has been recognized as a leader once again. The company has secured the top spot in the "Cargo Transportation and Logistics Services" category for the second consecutive year.
The awards, held with the support of the Ministry of Economy and organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM), celebrated the champions of Turkey's service export sector based on 2016 figures. Netlog Logistics Group achieved the highest position with a service export volume of $366 million.
Gökalp Çak, Netlog’s Vice Chairman, received the award from Economy Minister Nihat Zeybekci and TİM President Mehmet Büyükekşi. The group also moved up two places in the "Turkey’s Top Service Exporters" list, now ranking 6th overall.
Gökalp Çak emphasized the company's ambition to establish a global logistics brand from Turkey, stating, “Every investment and step we take is driven by our goal of creating a world-class logistics brand from Turkey. As a company growing with Turkey, we will continue to invest to elevate the country’s economy to the global level.”
$200 Million Investment Planned for 2018
Looking ahead, Çak mentioned that Netlog will accelerate its efforts to become a global brand, stating, “Since our establishment in 2003, we have been proud to grow into one of the most significant logistics companies not only in Turkey but also in the region. We will maintain our sustainable growth trend, continue investing in our infrastructure, employees, and the sector, and explore new partnerships and acquisition opportunities. We plan to invest $200 million in logistics, storage, and infrastructure in the coming year.”
