Renault Trucks made its first fleet delivery of the year to Turkey's logistics giant, Netlog. Gökalp Çak, Vice Chairman of Netlog’s Board of Directors, stated, “Driver feedback is important to us. We made our investment based on both company criteria and their input.”
In recent years, Netlog Logistics has set high standards in the Turkish logistics sector with its successful operations. Renault Trucks, with its renewed management team, came together with Netlog for the first and largest delivery of the year. The delivery ceremony, attended by Renault Trucks' World President Bruno Blin, was held with significant media coverage.
The vehicle delivery ceremony, which involved Renault Trucks' World President Bruno Blin, Renault Trucks Turkey President Sebastien Delepine, Renault Trucks Turkey Sales Director Ömer Bursalıoğlu, Netlog Logistics Chairman Şahap Çak, Vice Chairman Gökalp Çak, and Netlog Logistics Commercial Operations Director Olcay Sunucu, was a notable event.
“We Produce Vehicles That Can Stay on the Road for a Long Time”
Bruno Blin, World President of Renault Trucks, expressed that Renault Trucks Turkey completed 2019 very well and started 2020 strongly. He highlighted the importance of starting the year with a large sale of 150 trucks, especially to a major company like Netlog. Blin emphasized their goal of increasing customer success and noted, “It is very important for us to develop long-term partnerships with our business partners. We have high confidence in our technologically advanced products. Our main focus is to reduce our customers' total acquisition costs and provide high-quality products. Our greatest aim is to contribute to our customers' success. We strive to maintain the best fuel consumption, optimal maintenance costs, and maximum uptime for the vehicles.”
Netlog Now Has the Largest Renault T 480 Fleet
Sebastien Delepine, President of Renault Trucks Turkey, added, “Netlog was the first company to receive our Euro 6 delivery. With this sale of 150 vehicles, Netlog now has 250 trucks, making it the company with the largest T 480 fleet in Turkey. The success of our vehicles and products is recognized in Turkey. In 2019, our T range became the most sold imported truck. Renault Trucks also earned the title of the fastest-growing brand in market share over the past three years.”
“We Chose Renault Based on Company Criteria and Driver Feedback”
Gökalp Çak, Vice Chairman of Netlog Logistics, mentioned that their fleet is continuously growing and many factors are considered when making vehicle investments. He said, “What the drivers think is also very important. It’s not just about acquiring vehicles at the lowest cost but ensuring that both the company and the drivers are happy. Renault Trucks is a preferred brand for both our drivers and our company.”
Gökalp Çak also noted that they have a total of 4,000 vehicles in their fleet and shared insights from the past year: “2019 was not particularly good for Turkey. However, what matters is how you navigate through turbulent times. We had a good year. Our difference is that 50% of our revenues come from abroad, so currency fluctuations did not affect us much. Many sectors experienced contraction, but this will not be permanent. It may continue for a while, but we are not a company that plays for today and tomorrow. Our investments are focused on the future.”
“We Chose One of the World’s Leading Brands”
Şahap Çak, Chairman of Netlog Logistics, emphasized Renault’s long-standing legacy, stating, “Our goals are clear, and we have full confidence in our people and our country. We chose one of the world’s leading brands. Three key parameters guided our choice: driver satisfaction, price, and fuel consumption. Renault Trucks is a proven brand.”
“Renault Trucks Is Now Our Biggest Partner”
Olcay Sunucu, Commercial Operations Director at Netlog Logistics, highlighted the company’s continuous growth since its inception, stating, “We manage 6,000 truck movements daily. Our business is not just about logistics and transportation; we have become Turkey’s largest service provider, from supply chain management to e-commerce. During this period, our first investment of 2020, we thank Renault Trucks for their support, positive approach, and timely delivery. Despite the turbulence of 2019, we have not lost our belief in adding value to our business and partners. With 250 vehicles, Renault Trucks has become our largest partner.”
