As one of Turkey’s largest supermarket chains, Migros operates a network of stores across the country, all supplied by regional distribution centers. However, the existing logistics infrastructure proved inadequate for handling frozen products, which led to direct store deliveries for this category. This created several significant operational challenges, including the inability to perform centralized quality control, inconsistencies in meeting order volumes, and irregular deliveries to store fronts. Furthermore, direct deliveries by suppliers not only increased logistics costs but also resulted in product availability discrepancies across regions, as some suppliers were unable to reach all locations.

To address these issues, Migros needed a robust logistics solution that would provide centralized control over the distribution of frozen products, covering the entire country and optimizing delivery processes.
