Founded in London in 2007, the brand now has more than 250 stores around the world, spanning 48 physical markets, 38 online markets, and selected wholesale partners. Gaining popularity during the mid-2010s, it has since become a wardrobe staple for women and men seeking high-quality pieces at affordable prices.

COS Restore offers shoppers the opportunity to buy second-hand garments in like-new condition at an attractive discount. We worked closely with COS to design and implement the bespoke logistics and renewal solutions behind this innovative offering, ensuring that both sustainability and customer experience were prioritized throughout.

Implementing COS Restore required the creation of an integrated logistics and renewal framework. First, pre-loved clothing handed in by customers and collected from COS stores across Europe is sent to a distribution center. From there, it is sorted and shipped to our renewal facility in Almelo, the Netherlands. Our Renewal Workshop team then restores each garment to optimal condition using our proprietary renewal process.

Initially launched in 2022, COS Restore is optimized for sustainability – from the lower-impact, water-free cleaning methods used to the sustainable packaging that the restored clothing is shipped in. The range has proven to be a hit with the brand’s fans, showing that circularity can be a key asset for building brand loyalty.

Following the success of the pilot, COS decided to expand the COS Restore program in 2023. Restored COS clothing is currently available to buy in COS stores across Europe, including France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, and Italy.

Fashion Specialism

With decades of experience working with major brands, our teams are uniquely positioned to ensure that sustainability and customer experience go hand in hand.

All too often, consumers discard clothing that is fully functional apart from a minor imperfection such as a loose button or a minor tear – contributing to the millions of tonnes of clothing that ends up in landfill every year. COS wanted to address this problem by developing a streamlined solution to restore pre-loved garments to like-new condition so they could find a new home.
